Cardinal Daneels Dirty Little Book

Various people have sent me a link to a sex education textbook produced under and authorised and supported by Cardinal Daneels. I am shocked by the content. Some of the things it encourages certainly happen in UK "Catholic" schools but it goes further, much further.
I found it first on Rorate Caeli, I have been hesitant to link to it, as in my opinion it promotes paedophilia.

Sadly, we have not been blessed with children. Sometimes I weep, sometimes I think I would weep a lot more if I were bringing up children and subjecting them to a "Catholic" (???) education

From "A Catechism of Chrisitan Doctrine" (aka The Penny Catechism)

Q348 What are the enemies we must fight against all the days of our life?
A. The enemies we must fight against all the days of our life are the devil, the world and the flesh.

Sadly too often some leaders of our Church have appeared to believe that their main responsibility is to try to make the Catholic Church popular and accepable to "the world" (aka Public Opinion).

Public Opinion naturally changes with the times and is subject to the influence of opinion makers - especially in the mass media.

The leaders of our Church need the moral courage to preach the truth in season and out of season so as to form Public Opinion rather than be formed by Public Opinion.

In particular they need to scrutinize the advice of "experts" - who sometimes appear to have an agenda that is quite incompatible with genuine Catholic doctrine and morals.

And whosoever shall scandalize one of these little ones that believe in me; it were better for him that a millstone were hanged around his neck, and he were cast into the sea.
