I am grateful for the reminder of the times, Father, as I left my newsletter in the hymn book this week!

The Feast of the Sacred Heart is a very special day for me as I was received into the Church on this day forty plus years ago. It saddened me that the Feastday passed almost unnoticed over the years and I am so pleased that you are giving us the opportunity of celebrating it in this way.

I do like the idea of it being made a Day of Prayer for Priests too and shall be remembering all those I know and have known, living and dead, in my prayers today.
