That was really great. I still don't like the Rosary, but I know it's because I am a cold unfeeling anglo. I wish I were more Mediterranean so I could love it more.

Oh, meant to say...find a nice picture of the Annunciation to look at when you're saying it. That might help.

You never get tired of telling your own mother you love her, do you? :-D

Well, it must just be that I'm a cold unfeeling person then, and have no genetic excuse because praying the Rosary to me is about as appealing as swallowing a handful of sand.

But Hilary, I've read your blog, you don't seem the least little bit like a "cold, unfeeling person."

Maybe just give it a go reading the Magnificat in Luke. She always leads those to her Son. And Mary, being the work of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit is their greatest human creature. No Artist, divine or otherwise dislikes it when you admire His work.
