Abortion: "Send the Swiss guard to arrest them"

Watch the first 45 seconds, then jump to 2:30, then to 3:30....

It really raises the question of whether Catholics should stand for election at all in a democracy where secular standards dominate.

If they do, they need to make it absolutely clear to the electorate where they stand on this and other issues where secular values and the teaching of the church are at odds. If they fail to get elected, then so be it - they have to accept that.

I thought he was a little flippant with the questioner.

This man is NOT a future Pope.

Ranjith or bust!

Henry,
If they believe in the Catholic faith, then they will become skilled in teaching its tenets. The natural law, especially the right to life is apllicable to all human beings, as is basic morallity.
Our problem, their problem is bolted on morality.

John Wakeham's committe in the House of Lords could probably enlighten us on the "overall benefits" of 2,000,000 abortions in ten years.

It seems that they are prepared to go to any lengths including wholesale MURDER to find a cure for Alzheimers & Parkinsons. How long before they try to convince us that Euthanasia is the only cure for these incurable ailments ?
