Temple Gallery Summer Exhibition

The Temple Gallery sent me their catalogue for the summer exhibition this morning, do have a look at least on line. The cheapest is £750 then the prices go up and up, I think all the icons are Russian, there are 71 in the summer exhibition.
The catalogue is fascinating, in the beginning are some photographs of the "icon corner" in the private rooms of Nicholas and Alexandra very cluttered and domestic and a short essay by Yuri Bobrov on icons in the life of the Russian Imperial family.
If you call into the tiny gallery in Holland Park, Richard Temple, who loves chatting about icons, will be pleased to give a catalogue.
