I refuse to believe they are going to make the His Holiness the Pope, Bishop Of Rome And Vicar Of Jesus Christ; Successor Of St. Peter, Prince Of The Apostles; Supreme Pontiff Of The Universal Church; Servant Of The Servants Of God; Primate Of Italy; Archbishop And Metropolitan Of The Roman Province; Sovereign Of Vatican City State, wear that chasuble...
The Pope is probably not going to wear that chasuble. It looks like one of the "job lot" for the other clergy taking part in the Pope's celebrations and Marini may have had little to do with its choice. The Pope's vestments are usually brought from Rome for overseas visits.
Here wo go again, Fr Ray. The gnarled fingers of the tatists are keeping their arthritic joints in trim once more, poor fellows, as they indignantly sweep the keyboards of their laptops - although I suspect that most of them have not progressed beyond Applemac. I think they should be transported to China as members of the undergound Church and learn what the cost of Catholicism is in tough circumstances. Pity they could'nt have lived in Albania in recent times.

Yes, I entirely agree, its awful.
Oh no! Not another sartorial post. Haven't your readers had enough of them?

Had enough of them? Never!
This is Marini we are talking about - the son of Archbishop Bugnini.
