A Little Blessing

I was sent this by Mary, I hope it doesn't offend. It is interesting how the world uses religion, principally Our Faith as a marketing tool, why can't we. Anyone from Ecclesdon Square* like to start a discussion.

I don't like this one either, I complained earlier. Absolutely shameless, full of sexual imagery and advertising, do you get paid for this type of thing?
And how dare you criticise the Bishops, they have a right to loyalty!

It might be better if you wasted less time.

Maud, I am sorry that you are upset, I do not share your concerns about this, no more full of sexual imagery than many pages of the Old Testament.
I wasn't criticising their Liordships but sniping, very gently and with a toy popgun.
As for time someone was supposed to come an see me this evening and didn't so I had 15 mins spare.

I felt after some rather heavy stuff, a bit of "lite" relief was needed.

Maud, I am loving you, all the way from Nebraska but gee that priest looks just like my John, when we married. Now he is 320 pounds.
Sit transit...

Isn't that how we should read this clip, you just don't get what you expect - its life, Maud. Live!

Funny ad but sadly it would never have gone to air. In the UK the BACC won't allow anything to be broadcast which has a smidge of religious content. Religious marketing can generally only be used to sell religion unless you're doing something viral and then you can get away with murder, that is until the complaints department catch up with you.
